How to Connect Your Telematics Provider to CleanFreight
CleanFreight turns the data your fleet is already collecting into fuel waste, idle cost, and sustainability insights — but it only works once your telematics data is connected. Below are step-by-step video guides for our most common integrations: Motive, Geotab, ISAAC, and Samsara.
Once connected, CleanFreight pulls in your fleet's historical data and keeps it synced automatically, so your dashboard stays current without any manual work on your end.
Motive Integration
Connect your Motive account to CleanFreight to start surfacing fuel waste and idle cost insights from your existing ELD and telematics data.
What you'll need: Motive account admin access (API key or OAuth login).
Geotab Integration
Sync your MyGeotab data with CleanFreight using a dedicated service account — no changes to your existing Geotab setup required.
What you'll need: A Geotab service account with read access to your fleet's data.
ISAAC Integration
Connect your ISAAC Instruments data to CleanFreight and bring your fleet's fuel and performance data into one dashboard. Connecting to ISAAC has 2 steps, Contact support@cleanfreight.ca and we will guide you through this process. First we email your Isaac rep to get an API key set up for CleanFreight & we ask ISAAC to provide the historical data that CleanFreight will help you upload manually.
Samsara Integration
Link your Samsara fleet data to CleanFreight with a simple token-based connection.
What you'll need: A Samsara API token from your account settings, with read access to:
- Places
- Assets
- Equipment
- Fuel and Energy
- Maintenance
- Trips
- Vehicles Save the API Key and paste into the terminal health page on CleanFreight.
