The problem
Your Motive account already records every litre your trucks burn, every kilometre they run, and every hour they sit idling. What it does not do is tell you which of those litres you did not need to spend. Getting to that answer normally means exporting reports, rebuilding them in a spreadsheet, and doing it again next month.

Connect through Motive's OAuth flow. You approve the request in your own Motive account, so no API keys change hands and nothing is copied and pasted.

Motive integration FAQ
How long does setup take?
The authorisation itself takes under a minute. Once approved, the first sync begins immediately, and how quickly your baseline appears depends on how much history your Motive account holds.
Do I need to share my Motive API key?
No. Motive uses OAuth, so you approve CleanFreight inside your own Motive account and we receive a scoped credential. No key is ever typed into CleanFreight, and you can revoke it from Motive at any time.
Which Motive data does CleanFreight read?
Fuel consumed, distance travelled, idle time, and engine hours, per vehicle per day. We do not read driver messages, video, HOS logs, or anything not needed to measure fuel.
Is the connection read-only?
Yes. CleanFreight only reads telemetry. We never send commands to a vehicle, edit a record in your telematics account, or change anything about how your fleet operates.
Can I disconnect at any time?
Yes. Disconnecting takes one click in your CleanFreight connections page, and it stops all future syncing immediately. You can also revoke access from your provider's own account settings.
What happens to my data if I disconnect?
Your history stays in CleanFreight so your reports remain readable, unless you turn on the option to purge it on disconnect. That setting is yours to choose.
